Lenda | Leggend

//________________________________

Once upon a time there was a princess of unusual beauty, who lived in the banks of a dangerous river. On the other side there was a brave boy, unafraid and young who, having had a glance of the princess from across the river, decided to tear the distance away by jumping over the river. The enchant was mutual and the two of them took long walks, inebriated, on the river shore... One day the princess' father found them on one of these encounters, and he was prohibited to see the princess ever again. The threat didn't work, for the boy kept jumping over the precipice to meet her. When the king caught him again, called a witch to curse him with a spell: if the boy jumped over the river again, he'd turn into a wolf. Not even that was capable of separating the two lovers... the princess accepted him as a wolf and, for the wolf-boy, only her company mattered.

Finding out that the encounters were still going on against his will,, the king gathered his men and dogs to haunt the boy down. The princess refused to leave him they both jumped towards the other bank, over the throat of depth and violence bellow...

However, the poor princess was incapable to reach the other bank, falling into the ravine and disappearing into the darkness of the rocks and the fury of waters. Incapable of supporting the pain of losing her, the boy chose to throw himself into the hole as well, where he too got lost as boy and as wolf...
